Three Services,
Each Distinct

Cresthollow offers three archival services for Malaysian households. Each produces a printed deliverable. Each is editorial and informational only.

โ€” How We Work โ€”

Our Approach to Every Engagement

Every Cresthollow engagement follows the same sequence, regardless of service type: a review of the material available, a confirmation of scope, editorial arrangement and design, client proofing, and print production. The sequence does not change. The depth of each stage varies according to the service.

We do not begin production until we have reviewed the material and confirmed that we have everything required to complete the work. We do not go to print until the household has reviewed and approved the draft. These two commitments hold across all three services.

The visual design applied throughout draws from herbarium and natural history reference traditions: thin borders, small botanical line drawings, italic small caps for titles, and a reading serif for body text. This language is consistent across all our work, so pieces produced at different times sit together naturally on a shelf or in a folder.

  • One printed A4 plate, framing-quality stock
  • Client proofing before plate is produced

Standards That Apply Throughout

Private Material Handling

Household documents and records shared with us are not retained after delivery. Digital copies are deleted. Nothing is referenced or reproduced externally.

Client Proofing Without Exception

Every service includes a proofing stage. Nothing is printed until the household has reviewed and approved the layout. Corrections within this stage carry no extra charge.

Timelines Stated and Kept

Production schedules are set at the start of each engagement. We communicate promptly if anything changes rather than falling quietly behind.

PDPA-Compliant Practice

Personal data handling complies with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We do not collect more information than the engagement requires.

Print Quality Inspection

Printed copies are inspected before dispatch. Any copy that does not meet our stated standard is reprinted at no cost to the household.

Prices Stated Before Work Begins

Published prices are the actual prices. There are no additions for consultation, proofing, or minor scope adjustments discovered during production.

Begin with a Conversation

If you are uncertain which service fits your household's material, we are glad to discuss the options before any scope is agreed.
